So you know how they found evidence of water on Mars? Well they found some running water the other week. It's pretty cool I guess, I mean, it's around the same amount of water that you would find if your faucet was leaking. Plus, it's really salty, I think they called it briny water, but you probably wouldn't want to drink it. The water shows up at different spots on Mars and only appears if it's over 10 degrees Fahrenheit, it will disappear if it's anything under that which is pretty cool. The water runs downhill, of course because Gravity, they call the downhill flows recurring flow lineae. NASA first saw the dark lines, which is the water, five years ago, but they didn't know what the lines were until just a little while ago. It's all exciting, but there's more. Around 2030, NASA is planning to send people to Mars. They've already chosen a few 15 year olds, that'll be 30, to be the ones going to Mars. They are going to travel to the International Space Station first, then they are going to take another rocket from there to head to Mars. Apparently, in the 2020s, those same astronauts are going to be taking a trip to an asteroid to gather samples, and then NASA is going to send a robotic mission to try and make the asteroid orbit the moon! This experience is going to help NASA test new systems and capabilities, like one called Solar Electric Propulsion.
